David Horn is the Principal and Professional Engineer for Horn Consulting Engineers LLC, a full-service structural engineering firm founded in July 2007. He brings more than 25 years of structural engineering experience to every project with extensive experience in residential, commercial and affordable multi-family construction.

As the sole licensed engineer at HCE, Horn is responsible for the conceptual structural design, structural analysis, detailing, production and construction services for a wide variety of buildings constructed of wood, concrete, masonry and steel. He excels in adhering to all time and monetary constraints unique to each project, which requires effective time and resource management.

When not working, Dave enjoys traveling, running and just being with family.

Jon Gallagher is the CAD Manager & Structural Designer for Horn Consulting Engineers LLC, responsible for overseeing drafting standards and practices, file management, and structural design. He develops project schedules and ensures timely completion of projects while utilizing his creative drafting and design expertise. Jon has been with HCE since the firm was founded in 2007.

Jon is a natural leader, and his greatest strengths are his attention to detail, problem-solving and drive. He thrives on challenges and dedicates himself to his many projects.

Jon holds an Associate’s Degree in Computer-Aided Design (CAD). When not working, Jon enjoys playing guitar and writing music.

Elliot is a Structural Drafter for Horn Consulting Engineers LLC. He is responsible for structural design drawings for residential and commercial buildings ranging from remodels to new construction.

Elliot is known for his attention to detail and timeliness on all of his projects.

When not working Elliot enjoys working with computers, gaming, backpacking, doing small construction projects and problem-solving.

Corey is a Structural Drafter for Horn Consulting Engineers LLC. He is responsible for structural design drawings for residential and commercial buildings ranging from remodels to new construction.

Corey is known for being a team player, detail oriented and takes great pride in his work.

Corey is the newest member of the team and comes to us with an Associate Degree in Architectural Design and Drafting. When not working Corey enjoys listening to music, building models, watching movies and spending time with family.

Jennifer Tiemann is the Office Manager for Horn Consulting Engineers LLC, responsible for efficient business operations, financial objectives and business development. Prior to joining Horn Consulting Engineers LLC, she worked in project management and marketing at several Portland based companies, as well as serving various volunteer positions in non-profit organizations.

Jennifer’s greatest strengths are big picture thinking, communication, and leadership. She enjoys building long-term relationships and works to provide the best experience for our clients.

Jennifer holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration. When not working, Jennifer enjoys traveling and spending time with her family.
